• Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi from April 28 to May 2
• Bihar during April 28-29, and over Chhattisgarh from April 28-30
• Northern parts of Gujarat State on April 28
Meanwhile, as a result of strong southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal to northeastern States at lower tropospheric levels, rainfall intensity is likely to increase over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, with scattered/fairly widespread rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim during the next five days.
Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh from April 30 to May 2; over Assam, Meghalaya on 29th and 30th; over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on May 1 and 2; and isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall also likely over Assam-Meghalaya on May 1 and 2.
Another fresh Western Disturbance will impact Northwest India from May 2, resulting in light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning likely over the Western Himalayan Region between May 2 and 4. Isolated light showers are forecast over the plains of northwest India from May 3 to 4.
Due to trough wind discontinuity over peninsular India in lower tropospheric levels, isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorms or lightning is possible over Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the next five days.
